Our volunteers Dinesh Rajendran (Co-founder), Dimithri Gunasighne (Co-founder and treasurer) and David Antony (Operations manager) attended the Charity Governance awards in Clothworkers’ Hall, London after Teach Sri Lanka was shortlisted among hundreds of other charities who applied.
The evening was a great success and we were honoured to be awarded runners up in the ‘0-3 paid staff’ category.
Good governance is at the heart of everything we do at Teach Sri Lanka and therefore being recognised for this against esteemed company by an incredible judging panel means the world to us.
A massive congratulations to Raising Futures Kenya for winning our category.
Lastly, we would like to thank the Charity Governance board, the Clothworkers’ company and NPC (New Philanthropy Capital) for their recognition and support.
