Our first Cricket for Charity event in August 2018, was a huge success. We were very grateful to the DACD club for letting use their grounds and facilities in Rowlands Castle, Hampshire to run this event.
It was a gorgeous, sunny day and we had some very enthusiastic teams on the day including: DACD, Teach Sri Lanka team, Team Sri Lanka, Southsea Salseros and Clanny.

A spread of delicious Sri Lankan dal, rice and chicken curry was supplied on the day along with some gorgeous handmade cakes which were generously donated.

We hosted a raffle and a guess the total amount of runs, with fabulous prizes which had been donated on the day.

Our skilled winners were team Sri Lanka. In addition to our winner, we also gave out awards for most enthusiastic player, best player of the day, best moment of the day and best hit of the day.

We very much look forward to hosting the next Cricket for Charity event in 2019. Watch this space!
