Dinesh Rajendran
Co-Founder and Chairman
From humble beginnings to managing large scale projects in the UK. Dinesh has first hand experience of the transformative potential of solid educational grounding. He co-founded Teach Sri Lanka to provide this opportunity to other children.

Dimithri Gunasinghe
Co-Founder and Treasurer
Dimithri and Dinesh were co-horts at the same school. Dimithri financial background and experience in the private equity and startup space has ensured that Teach Sri Lanka first has the maximum impact at the minimal cost to our donors.

Mahesh Santiapillai
Compliance and Regulations Lead
With a background in Compliance and Regulation in the financial services sector Mahesh has always had a passion for volunteering and co-founded the volunteer society in the University of Surrey. He looks forward to bringing his expertise to Teach Sri Lanka and enabling the not for profit to flourish.

Andreanna Poulaki
Communications and Marketing Lead
Andreanna is a teacher by profession and has over 10 years of experience . Her passion and drive to give back to society lead her to Kenya where she volunteered to teach underprivileged children. Her creativity coupled with her aspiration to make a difference, makes her a great volunteer to represent Teach Sri Lankas’ beliefs and values, and create awareness for our cause.

Romesh Don
Public Relations Lead
Romesh has built a tenured career in the buying and selling of global food commodities with a particular focus on the UK market. His ability to develop relationships and negotiate complex commodities contracts makes him the ideal for the role of Public relations lead with the primary mandate of improving Teach Sri Lanka’s footprint and visibility across UK higher educational institutions, including spearheading our Student Representative program.

David Antony
Operations Manager
With over 20 years’ experience as a Police Officer in the Royal Navy, David has always had an ingrained passion for helping people. He has led teams in the delivery of humanitarian aid and disaster relief operations in the Caribbean and Indian Ocean which ultimately led him to joining Teach Sri Lanka. His high levels of motivation and situational awareness has enabled him to consistently deliver across functional operational excellence.

Beth Whitlock
Student Representative Programme Manager
With over 4 years experience working in the care industry, Beth has always had a passion for helping those in need. Past experiences include visiting Kenya to help provide teaching services in local schools for destitute children. Beths’ values align with Teach Sri Lankas to make her a great addition to the student representative team.
